waiting for an orange

the day can never break
better than this.
look father - an orange coming up the horizon!
you kick-start my mornings —

the day can never break
as beautifully as it does,
when,
for the fourth time
you caress me — searching for a divine retreat,
which, of course, i cannot furnish.
and incessantly kick me
out of unconscious fury,
which i love.
kicks were never sweeter!

the day can never end,
better than this.
when,
slowly,
we merge in the herd of — frogs, wolves, lions
and clever rabbits and raven!
when, you suddenly stop asking questions.
i realize,
its time to disperse the ants and doves,
and collect small sticks,
to warm up, our nest,
and bid adieu to this jolly day!

until the orange ripens,
again,
through its trajectory,
and I wait, to hear:
look father! an orange coming up the horizon
you kick start my mornings,
you conclude my evenings!
